Whitney's Blog: Sometimes You Have to Kiss a Lot of Frogs... But Love Happens :)

My mother has always told me that you never get over your first love fully, thus there are always inevitable lingering feelings. However, I reflect on my past relationships as learning experiences rather then regrets. You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince!!

Just remember, still having some feelings for a past love is normal and (usually) innocent. Always know that each and every one of us deserves the utmost best and don't allow those lingering feelings to undermine the potential for a new relationship.

Whitney's Blog: Whitney Eve Fashion Show :)

Yesterday was probably the most nerve-wracking yet thrilling day of my life!!! I had my first ever fashion show for my clothing line, Whitney Eve, not to mention that it was during New York Fashion Week! I swear I couldn't breathe from the time I started preparing for the show until the last model walked.

My entire family and all of my friends came in for the show and I feel so blessed to have such an incredible support system always behind me!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped to make my dream a reality. I'm still on cloud nine haha. I am so truly grateful for the opportunities I've been given and I could never have done any of this without you guys.

Whitney's Blog: Whitney Eve Hits Fashion Week!

Today is a HUGE day for me! The Whitney Eve Spring 2010 line is debuting on the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week!!!!!!!

I've devoted all of my time to preparing for this moment and I can't believe it's finally here. I'm so grateful to have been given this incredible opportunity and I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world!!!

The show is this afternoon and I'm both nervous and excited, but mostly excited :) Wish me luck everyone!!!!!!!

Whitney's Blog: Shopping at JCPenney :)

I had so much fun shopping with Mary Ann, the winner of my JCPenney Back to School Shopping Spree contest. She was so sweet and definitely had an eye for fashion!!!

JCPenney had a great selection and we both left with a lot of new clothing :). We got it all on tape in a Back to School Fashion video, which I will be posting very soon! Keep an eye out!!!

Whitney's Blog: Congratulations to the Winner of the JCPenney Back to School Shopping Spree!

Hi guys. Thank you so much to everyone who entered to win the $1000 JCPenney

back to school shopping spree with me!!! I loved reading all of your comments and I wish all of you could have won.

It was very difficult but I narrowed it down to 14 finalists who each submitted a video. They were all amazing and after a lot of thought, I finally chose a winner.

Congratulations to Mary Ann from Illinois!!!!! I was so moved by Mary Ann's video. She is really an inspiration who at the age of 16 started an outreach program in the Philippines called Chinelas that distributed over 300 pairs of slippers to school children that walk to school barefoot! Chinelas means slippers in Spanish and through Chinelas, Mary Ann also gave out toiletries at a shelter for street children and victims of child trafficking. She is truly an inspiration!!!

Not only is Mary Ann a philanthropist, but she's a little fashionista as well! She has a passion for fashion and it showed in her video. Thank you for entering Mary Ann! Keep doing what you're doing...every little thing helps :)

Whitney's Blog: L.A. Candy is a GREAT Read!!!

I just finished reading Lauren's book L.A. Candy and I absolutely loved it!!! It was an ideal summer read and it was so fun to see how our lives were re-imagined on paper. Of all the book's characters, the protagonist Jane was the truest to real life in my opinion. She was very Lauren!

As a former cast member of The Hills, I could truly feel everything Jane was going through, since the book was based on Lauren's experiences as a reality star. Everything was just so familiar.

Lauren is a wonderful writer...so fun and breezy! I finished the book in a week...maybe even less. I'm SO proud of her and I can't wait to read her next book!!!!

P.S. I love how in the magazine clip above it says I was trying to hide what I was reading but it says "Lauren Conrad" in huge letters on the spine!!! LOL.

Whitney's Blog: My Fondest Summer Memories :)

Since I was born, I have been going to lake of the Ozarks in Missouri every Summer. If anyone were to ask me where my favorite place in the world is, I would undoubtedly say the Ozarks.

My siblings and I have met lifelong friends there and it is just the most relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating place for the mind, body and soul. Every day we take the boat out, lounge around, jet ski, tube -- the list goes on and on. We cook and eat lots of frozen custard!! Since I never went to summer camp, it is my version of just that.

My fondest childhood memories come from summers in the Ozarks with my favorite people in the world!!!!

My Brother-in-Law is Quite the Jokester :)

Hi my loves! I am having so much fun reading through all of your entries for the JCPenney shopping spree. While reading I came across one that just didn't seem right.. My brother-in-law Evan tried to fool me but as soon as I saw the words jello and llama I knew it had to be him!

Look at what he wrote: "I am 31 years old and I really enjoy making jello. A lot of times when I make jello it spills on my clothes. Anyway, I need some new gear to wear to jello culinary school. I also have a pet llama and he eats my onesies and crop tops during the summer right off my chest.

Please help Whitney. You're my only hope!!!!! Ernie".
