I'm sure it was unintentional but this couple is all about the red white and blue. And the gold tie and sunglasses at night add the perfect bit of requisite glam.

Brooklyn Kids
Are they really from Brooklyn? Okay, not sure but she does have the requisite round oversized frames and long dark hair with bangs...but we won't hold that against her because she seems rather nice. And I like her zebra print top. And his hat. GREAT hat and you can find similar ones on Canal Street for $5 which is always a good thing.

nothing clever here today
I mean in the title. I am a bit over tired right now so am out of clever thoughts. Forgive me. So I give you a stylish blonde instead. Can't go wrong with that, can you?

Q + A with Tr3y Stylez
Fashion week is almost upon us and if you're like me, you find yourself awake at 2:30 in the morning wondering, "What am I going to wear?" After all, fashion week is a bit like going to a week long high school reunion - if your highschool was full of freakishly fashionable gay people and their straight compatriots. So you don't want to the wear the same thing twice and you want to change from day to evening and be able to be on your feet 20 hours a day. And if you are milling about the tents of Bryant Park, whether you admit it or not you want to be noticed for your chic, unique discerning sense of style. And that's where someone like Tr3y Stylez comes in: With his own offbeat, slightly eccentric style, Tr3y Stylez has an uncanny ability to put together interesting combinations. And not the generic West Coast "idea" of style ala certain celebu-stylists which make all 24 year old girls look like Stepford Wives in training, but style that feels authentic and individual and, well...New York. Learn more about Tr3y Stylez here.

color me green
This boy is too cute to be scowling! But whatevs...I am so so SO over the pants belted below the ass (maybe because I live in Brooklyn where even the 6 year olds in my neighborhood dress this way) but I like what's on top - the hair -cut & color and on the bottom -the white Doc Martens- so we'll let the pants slide. Oh and nice accessorizing too!

What to wear on laundry day
You know how on laundry day you end up wearing left over clothing? The t-shirt that is kind of blah or the sweats with oil stains? (No, I don't either) But if you are a poor soul like this you could use some of the ingenuity shown here. This dress is a laundry bag! Belted, pinned and on the town. Oh, and the puffiness that gives it a subtle bubble skirt? A carefully arranged sheet! We ♥ the mind that comes up with this!
