When Autumn Reeser said she was “carrying a little extra weight,” she wasn’t referring to Thanksgiving: the No Ordinary Family star is expecting her first baby!“I’m pregnant,” she told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night, after pointing to an as-of-now invisible baby bump.
The actress, 30, joked about her husband, writer-director Jesse Warren, finding out the news on television.
The two exchanged vows in May 2009 under a 200-year-old oak tree in Ojai, Calif.
As for her role on the ABC sci-fi series No Ordinary Family, Reeser — whose previous TV credits include The O.C. and Entourage — says she’s not sure if producers will incorporate her pregnancy into her role as Katie Andrews, a gawky, comic book-consuming lab technician.
“My character is really kind of not so great with men, but it is a superhero show, so it could be a, like, magical something that just happens,” she says. “Stranger things have happened.”
