Are Lo Bosworth's Jeans a Fashion Mistake?

Mom jeans or hot fashion statement?

We're confused and we need your help. We just can't decide if Lo Bosworth's jeans are a big fashion no-no, or if they're actually quite stylish and fashion-forward. What do you think?

Last week we talked about President Obama's jean fasion faux pas. But now that we see what The Hills' star Lo Bosworth was wearing at Nobu this weekend, we remember what true mom jeans really are. But then why do we think she actually looks kind of hot?

Her jeans are extremely high-waisted, too short, grey skinny jeans that she paired with a tucked in purple spandexy-looking tube top. Her shoes are grey stilettos with a wooden sole. On first glance we thought, "Ugh, what is Lo doing?" but the more we looked at her photos, the more we thought she actually made the outfit work.

We know we certainly couldn't pull it off, but we're going to give Lo Bosworth credit for a fashion win here. We might even say she can properly pull off the mom jean. We think. What's your opinion on Lo's outfit? Fashion win or major faux paux?
